SEC Regulators Now Coming After Traders

The SEC's enforcement arm has subpoenaed Wall Street's largest firms and traders in an attempt to reign in traders who manipulate the markets. Wall Street is hurting because of unfounded rumors and artificial manipulation of stock prices.

Now, we just need them to go next door and grab the oil traders who have been doing the same thing. The problem is that this administration has oily hands and will not kill the goose that has been laying the golden eggs that will keep the Bush family and their friends rich for generations to come.

Today's Tidbits

Obama speaks before powerful teachers' union and condemns McCain and others who support vouchers. I guess his solution is to simply pour more money into the system without recourse. Hey Obama! Are you sending your little girls to the local public school in southside Chicago? Didn't think so.

President Bush uses executive priviledge in the Valerie Plame leak case to prevent Attorney General Mukasey from testifying.

Looks like we may have another stimulas package coming. Hopefully, this will help jump start the economy a bit.

Charlie Rangel has never been accused of being humble. Check out his latest project. Anything for a legacy I guess.

Somebody please tell me how this could be fun. I wonder how many cases of Ecoli is attributed to this?

Congress overrides Bush's veto of the Medicare bill.

Very cool pictures of Mars.
